Family Preservation and Support Services
Monroe County was fortunate to be selected as a first round site to receive a Family Preservation and Support Service Grant in November of 1994. The governing body of this grant is the Monroe County Planning Council. Families First was created by the Planning Council in September 1996 and became a division of the Monroe County Housing Authority in January 1998. Families First provides adult residents of all ages a variety of services. Services are confidential and are non-income based.
